Part Three [Apr. 19th, 2007|10:23 pm]
[Current Mood |satisfiedsatisfied]
[Current Music |Nightmare Before Christmas]

Ok, so I waited a day to post part three, Allison is the only one who reads these anyway ;)

Reeva finally got up the courage to ask the doctor for a paternity test, though she brought Dargason with her for support. He was a good choice too, because he assured her that he would still be there regardless of the answer and was true to his word when the doctor (though confused as to why they were asking) told them that the baby was in deed Dargason's and a healthy little girl. They managed to confuse her even more when Dargason started to study the sonogram monitor looking for a tail...

Damien one night for some reason brought home a student, the very one Cayla called "a major kiss-ass", Lucas Gringard. His reason was that Lucas (aside from kissing up to him) had mentioned an interest in dragons and Damien happened to have logs of information that he could study. He's about the same height as Damien with green eyes, sand-colored hair buzzed short on the bottom but slicked into a ponytail on top and typically wears a type of soldier's uniform with heavy silver armor in large plated scales on his right arm and left leg. He also has a tattoo on his neck to match the stitched image on his pant leg of a dragon coiled into the shape of an eye. He loves kids, and luck would have it that Reeva and the twins stopped in to say hello for a minute and also got to meet Lucas. He was very excited to meet them and told them all about himself too.

As it turns out, Lucas is one of the last survivors of a clan called Draconic Militant. They were allies with most species of dragons long ago and they had a mutual guardianship between themselves and the dragons. But, as time went on, some resentful dragons didn't like being guarded by "weak little humans" and destroyed most of the Militants' homes. Lucas wasn't even born yet when it happened, but he has all the vivacity of the town's veterans from before it did. Also, to explain to Kaden why he kept itching his arm, Lucas took the armor off of his forearm to show him the source of his nerve damage: a horrible burn scar that covered every bit of skin that would normally be hidden by the armor and the gauntlet underneath. He never really said where it came from though, he only said that it didn't hurt him anymore, just itched all the time.

Back at home a few days later, Reeva was at home finishing up a batch of cookies and agreeing to let the twins help eat them when she suddenly began to feel dizzy and passed out on the floor. Simone started crying for her daddy, but Kaden ran to get the phone and they called 911 just like Kaci had taught them. He did everything the operator said and Simone went to answer the door when the paramedics came. He even got to see all the cool gadgets in the ambulance and one of the paramedics brought them to Kaci (who was doing his rounds) while Reeva was in the ER. She turned out to be okay, but had become a victim of Preclampsia, high blood pressure during pregnancy, which can be expected of a workaholic like her. Lilly, on the other hand, passed it off as the baby trying to kill her, which of course she believed, especially since she now has to stay in the hospital on bed rest until the baby is born. What a death sentence, she's got cabin fever BAD!

While in the hospital, people were bound to visit, and among them the baby's father Dargason. But, being constantly at odds with Kaci, Kaci demanded to know why he was there. So, Reeva had to break down and tell him that Dargason was the father and not him. While he had suspected Dargason of flirting with Reeva and trying to steal her away, he never actually thought they'd slept together, so he was reasonably shocked and upset. He even related the experience to losing Lilly to Damien, and while he told Reeva that he just needed a little while to think, he actually went home and called Nana to babysit the twins so he could go "to Europe for studies". He really did what Alex said was the worst possible case and also a long shot... he went to find his brother for advice. And we all know that Orion is the LAST person to be giving advice!

Well, while visiting Reeva one night and complaining about how Damien is too busy with his new job to pay attention to her, Lilly started to feel a little cramped up. First she complained about that new chinese restaurant, but then the feeling went away for a while and came back quite suddenly a little bit worse than before. Reeva caught on first that something wasn't normal about this and called in the nearest nurse or doctor, who happened to be Damien's sister Amy. She managed to ask Lilly a few questions to determine that yep, she was going to have the baby three weeks early, and helped to get her checked into her own room. Reeva took it upon herself to call Damien to let him know but he'd turned his cellphone off because Lilly kept on bothering him for stupid little favors and making them sound like a big deal. Also because of that, Damien was annoyed when he answered the school's phone but lightened up when Reeva told him that Lilly had gone into labor and said, "Yeah, that would be a good reason to call..."

Damien got to the hospital right away and almost knocked Alex over in the hallway when he went to find Lilly. Alex was going to visit Reeva since he was already there for dialysis, but instead he played relay and went back and forth from Reeva's room to Lilly's to keep Reeva filled in. Damien eventually told him in so many words "stop asking me how it's going or I'll kick your ass!", so Amy played relay instead to feed them information over several hours. After a long space between Amy's relays, she came and told them that Lilly had lost a lot of blood, but she was okay now and the baby was healthy. If they wanted to in a while, Amy could sneak Reeva out of bed to see little Daria Rose in the nursery. As it was though, Damien was refusing to leave Lilly's side despite her being asleep for hours at a time.

So that seems to be everything for now. Until next time, keep cheering for the boys! :D

Part two [Apr. 18th, 2007|03:09 pm]
[Current Mood |hungryhungry]

Ok, let's see how much we can get done this time...

The first level of Alex's labyrinth was a castle-style dungeon full of rats and dirt. The guys had to find a trick switch to open a door leading up to the second level, which was a very hot and dusty desert with high cliff walls on all sides. They found their way out by accident because Jim was following his nose for food to the apple tree that served as the ladder to the third level. This is when Reeva had to yell at Jim because he was leading Rick without knowing it. She let it slide though, 'cuz he wasn't aware of it. Anyway, the third level was a hedge maze full of apple trees and rose bushes, but if the guys stood in place too long, toxic spores from the "grass" would make them sleepy.

So Jim is terrified of spiders and Alex put a gigantic one on the third level of the maze. He tried to take of running, so Rick had to hunt him down and drag him screaming back to the spider so they could knock the ladder down onto its neck and kill it. Shoving Jim up the ladder too, they ended up on floor four, a sheer layer of fluffy clouds and no walls. However, if they stood still on this floor, they'd fall right through and if they weren't careful, they might run into a gap in the clouds or one of the resident bird monsters. They didn't though, Rick led them to the door and they made it to level five, which Reeva bet 50 bucks on Jim losing on.

Floor five was a will power test designed like a gorgeous tropical beach with voluptuous women and monkey butlers. Alex made it specifically to tempt Jim and make it harder on Rick to be authoritative, but he managed to drag him over to the staircase in plain sight and had to make him send one of the monkey butlers back because he tried to bring it along. Here's the hardest one. Their wives, Marie and Lucy, were waiting for them on the sixth floor and Reeva told Jim he could talk again. He spent their time acting like a semi-pervert towards Marie and when Rick said it was time to go, he said he wouldn't leave unless Marie promised to come back too. After some hesitation, she swore that before anybody they know dies, she will start the process of reincarnation.

So on they moved and the last challenge was for Jim and Rick to decide which ONE of them could go through the final door to be reborn. The trick was that if they made a solid decision on which one, they both would fail. They could only win if they refused to go without both of them. As luck would have it (you knew it would happen anyway) they did, but Rick more than Jim, and so they won. Alex also won their pool because he bet money on them both winning out. Reeva was pissed.

Some days later, when Lilly and Reeva had gone shopping together with Samantha (visiting for Damien's retirement party) because even their big butt jeans didn't fit anymore, Lilly got a frantic call from Celia saying that Alex had a seizure and was in the hospital. Sam called her dad and they went right away to the hospital. He was okay now, but barely conscious at all and he said his head felt like someone was punching his brain from the inside. Kaci was doing his rounds that night and told everybody about Alex's kidneys, so they all yelled at him for keeping it a secret, especially Lilly and Celia. They kept him at the hospital for a while and started him on dialysis. Now he's on the waiting list for a new kidney and has to come back to the hospital every other day for dialysis.

Break time again, but I'll put up more tonight in a glorious Part Three! I'll need to talk about Reeva's doctor visit, her talk with Kaci, Lilly's baby, and whatever else I may have forgotten. I'll ask Allison. :)

Part one [Apr. 18th, 2007|12:08 pm]
[Current Mood |sleepysleepy]

I'm so far behind in my updates now that it'll take multiple sections today just to get to what everyone is doing! Hence the Part One title.

So everyone went to the party at Damien and Lilly's to celebrate his retirement from the corporation and his acquisition of the new job. Even Orion was invited, and Lilly bribed him to behave by saying that if he did behave and not bother anyone, he could take Vicky home with him for a while. That was incentive enough for him to make him behave like a gentleman. He even insisted on dancing with Reeva, who in turn asked him if he was drunk because she's never seen him behaving nicely. Also during the party, Alex was pulled into a corner with Orion so he could ask a favor, then Alex himself pulled Damien into another corner to ask him how he could get life insurance when he already knows his kidneys are failing. Damien was more upset about Lilly finding out than he was about Alex's health, and they agreed to talk about it later when the party was over.

Later on, once Lilly knew that Damien had gone ahead and had a paternity test done, she kept on pestering him to tell her, but NOT to tell her, 'cuz she was still scared to find out. Finally he got so sick of it that he just snapped and said, "Yes, Lilly, it's mine". So of course, Reeva came running right up to hear and word spread like gossip always does. However, it didn't occur to Lilly to notify the other candidate and Orion quietly snuck away with Vicky when she never came to tell him. Days later, Alex and Lilly went to see Vicky and instead found a note on the door written in French, which Reeva translated to say "Gone to fabulous Paris. Will return when the mood strikes us." So obviously frustrated, Lilly sent a message along with Celia (since she was going to England anyway for potion supplies) that if he doesn't bring Vicky back the minute she asks to come home, she'll take her away from him for good. He agreed to do as she asked without a fight.

Finally, Jim and Rick got to do their challenge in Alex's holographic labyrinth. He and Lilly and Reeva got a nice little setup in a command room that Alex built just for the labyrinth so they (primarily Reeva) could use the microphone to talk to the guys without too much interference. They did pretty well with only a few warnings from Reeva.

.......The rest will have to wait until after class, it won't be long, don't worry!

New Job and Old Kidneys [Mar. 3rd, 2007|11:32 am]
[Current Mood |apatheticAchy]
[Current Music |Game Music playlist]

"Hey guys, ready to repeat what we saw on that Jackass show?"

Yes, it was Alex. He decided to build a gauntlet of sandbags in his backyard and have all the guys (being his brother, his roommate, and Kaci) over to try it out. They had a good time making asses of themselves, but then Alex was covered in bruises. The first person to show concern for this though was of course a girl. Reeva came over to talk to Kaci and generally to pester Alex. She even started calling him "bean boy" because of his being thin like a string bean and "like a bean, you can break him open and pop out the pods"... This sparked his new favorite line. "Please don't steal my pods, I like them!" But then while picking on each other, Alex accidentally let slip that he's not on his medications anymore. He then had to explain that his doctor wanted to test something and took him off of ALL his medications for the time being, even the ones that keep his heart beating normally. Of course then he rushed to change the subject.

While everyone was arguing, Torin of course got himself into trouble by accidentally firing his rifle into the mud, which scared Alex so bad that he nearly passed out. He didn't, but it certainly did sour his mood! To cheer him up, Reeva offered to bring him to play with the twins at her house and on the walk there got him to tell her what was really going on with his medications and being so bruised up and twitchy. First he made her swear (PINKY swear, so it's really binding) not to tell anyone but Damien because Damien wouldn't tell anyone else anyway. His doctor took him off his meds because a blood test showed that his kidneys were starting to fail. He'd hoped that taking Alex off of the Lithium might at least slow the progress of the deterioration. The best case scenario is that Alex won't be medicated for his Bipolar disorder. The worst case obviously is that his kidneys will fail and kill him... clearly we hope for the first option...

To make things even for Alex telling her his big secret, Reeva confessed to him that her baby might be Dargason's and not Kaci's. While he felt bad doing it, Alex had to laugh because of how Dargason NEVER let him forget the fact that Celia was pregnant before the wedding in her first lifetime. Now he has ammunition, which he swears he will not use until everybody knows about Reeva's baby. Anyway, the reason that Alex doesn't want anyone to know about his kidneys is because Lilly will freak out and anybody else would tell her about it whether or not it would be intentional. He can't even tell Celia because she thinks that Lilly has a right to know when her son is sick (good girl). Frankly, Alex is sick of being smothered by his mom, though we all know he'd miss it if she stopped.

Finally now, the moment you've all been waiting for (yeah right, like you were all just reading this for months). DAMIEN of all people was offered a job at Olivar's Academy, the school for alchemists and battle techniques that Cayla and Lona attends and for which Celia was the valedictorian. Suna Muntar, the headmistress, showed up herself out of nowhere (literally in a puff of shadow since she's an undead species) to ask him if he'd like the position as Physics professor. Of course, he'd also have to teach some battle classes now and then but he wouldn't have to move. He said he'd think about it and talked it over with Lilly. Cayla heard and was immediately against the idea. However, Damien assured her that if he took the job at all, he wasn't going to spy on her or embarass her. Well, after much deliberation, he decided to take the job and sell the majority share of his corporation to Liam. He'd still have a hand in it and be the boss of the new arcade, but Liam would technically be the president and owner.

To celebrate the new job, Damien and Lilly will be having a big party. This isn't much for a typical update, but at least it showed up. :p I'll tide you over with something sneaky on Damien's part. Lilly's still to scared to take a paternity test to learn whether the baby's Orion's or Damien's, so when Damien went along with her to the doctor he secretly asked the doctor to do a blood test and call him at his office when the results were ready to pick up. He didn't look at them, but left them in the envelope just in case Lilly did agree to look. Then he at least could say they looked at it together. Plus he could use it as leverage against Orion.

Next time, Rick and Jim FINALLY get to take their challenge in Alex's seven layered Labyrinth. Rick has to make all the decisions, Jim isn't allowed to talk, and they have to get out within a three hour time limit. Yikes! Oh, and there's a big fkn spider on the third floor...

(no subject) [Feb. 11th, 2007|09:31 pm]
[Current Mood |crazyclinically insane]
[Current Music |A Drunken Irish Dance]

After the dinner finally calmed down, everybody generally forgot about most of the uproars (except for the girls being pregnant of course), and things went back to the pseudo-normal way they always are. Damien was working at the arcade office late (or so he claimed), so before going back to work with the Council, Lilly went over to Reeva's to vent her frustrations and pretty much bond with another chick in the same trouble as her. At this point, Lilly is REALLY hoping that the council doesn't decide to split her apart again because of the baby. As she told Reeva, many things could go wrong. If a split doesn't kill the baby, it might end up splitting the baby's spirit too, or it might displace the baby into the wrong Lilly, or it might just work right and end up the way it was before the merge. Clearly at the risk of death, Lilly doesn't want to take any chances.

Reeva also took the time to mention to Lilly something she wasn't really allowed to tell her. Orion's sands of time are running out quickly, and he may not be able to stave off death for very much longer unless something drastic changes him. And, it was only recently that his sands began to fall faster. No more than a few minutes later, they began to hear a howling wind and a lot of rolling thunder... all in January while the sky was clear. That could only mean one thing, so Reeva sent the twins to Nana and she and Lilly headed right for Orion's house where he and Damien were fighting in the front yard. By the time they managed to break it up, Damien had a gash on his arm from being clipped by an arrow out of Orion's mini crossbow, and Orion had blood dripping across his face as well as a SEVERE electrical burn on his back. Lilly was so pissed that she sent Damien home and said that she would stay with Reeva that night instead of going with him. Reeva, on the other hand, actually helped Orion by wiping the blood off of his face when he didn't seem to notice that it was there. He thanked her by kissing her because she "seemed to need it". Ironically, Lilly only yelled at him once and then had to laugh when Reeva blushed and said "Wow, you're good!"

Somehow after that, Lilly managed to talk Reeva into leaving her with Orion to talk to him in private. She then went to talk to Dargason, presumably on the same topic. When she got to his house, Lona and Cayla were practicing their fighting techniques for their Battle Tactics class, and of course, Cayla was kicking her ass. Reeva gave her a few pointers and then she and Darg went to his library to talk. Once there in the quiet, he started to give her a speech about being a proud man and responsible for his own actions, and surprised her by proposing with his family's heirloom ring (which belonged to Celia before but was only recently returned to Dargason by Alex). Clearly shocked, Reeva unfortunately had to turn him down because she wasn't sure whether or not she really wanted to be married at all. After that, Dargason seemed slightly relieved, but did promise her that whether or not the child is his, he would be there for her when she needed him. They both seemed happy and stood at the window for a while, watching the snow.

Eventually it occurred to Reeva that Lilly was still at Orion's and the snow was starting to get a bit heavy. So, she called Lilly's cellphone to make sure she was going to actually go home after she finished. However, Lilly was still mad at Damien for lying and saying that he was at work, so she asked Reeva to cover for her and tell him (if he called her) that she would be at Reeva's house overnight, which she adamantly did not want to do. Finally, after many interruptions from Orion with suggestive commentary, Reeva got Lilly to agree that if Damien called her, she would actually answer the phone and talk to Damien herself. Of course, he was just as angry at Orion, so he didn't call and welcomed her happily the next morning once she wandered home.

Before they went to break up the fight, Reeva had invited Lilly to go with her to Egypt for a couple weeks as a sort of girls' vacation. They left the afternoon after the fight and spent the whole first night telling each other everything. Nana joined in too, and when she heard that Reeva turned down Dargason's proposal, Reeva told Lilly that Nana had been married FOUR times before. Of course, Nana's excuse was that there must've been something wrong with THEM for none of her marriages to turn out... Anyway, among the other confessions, Lilly swore them both to secrecy and explained why Reeva heard old waltzes playing in the background when she called the night before. Reeva seemed more shocked to hear that Orion can dance than she was to hear that Lilly had "fallen for his psychopathic charms again... but only a few times...four." That last remark sparked a "IN ONE NIGHT?", but nothing else. The fact that Orion can dance had Reeva so fascinated that she wanted to have a party just to prove it.

After coming home from their Chick Trip in Egypt, Reeva decided to bring out an old friend called Harley, which the twins were absolutely thrilled about. Alex, on the other hand, was not so happy to see Reeva pull up on a motorcycle. To him, all motorcycles are reminiscent of the semi-truck accident that killed his daughter Elexibelle. So he spent the night hiding behind Celia and hiccupping for some unknown reason. Damien was downright excited to see a big souped up engine on a classic Harley, but Lilly brushed it off since "he falls in love with anything that roars like an engine". She then demonstrated by growling and succeeding in grabbing his attention. However, Reeva strictly forbade him from riding on her motorcycle even though she let him keep it in his garage for safekeeping.

Later on that night, with the shadow of baby-weight looming in on her, Lilly went to try on her jeans and came back to everyone else sobbing because they didn't fit anymore. Though Damien kept on warning her not to get too worked up, it was Reeva who cheered her up by offering to go shopping with her soon because her own clothes wouldn't fit either in a few weeks. Lilly then headed for the cookie dough and halfway to the refridgerator, lost her strength and fainted. Damien dove and caught her before she could crash into the floor, but he and Alex both recognized it as a regular occurence for Lilly as both her whole self and her pregnant self, so they didn't make much of a big deal out of it. She has a habit of running herself too thin and then not having enough energy left over to survive consciousness. She did wake up a few minutes later and received a stern finger-wagging from Vicky to "rest and feel better", who once again smiled at Damien after he thanked her for taking such good care of her Momma.

I know I mentioned a job offer waaaaay back in December, so I think it's time to reveal what job and for who... Next time I post. ;) I'm so very evil. Goodnight everyone!

Exposed ((sorry, Orion, not literally)) [Feb. 10th, 2007|10:48 pm]
[Current Mood |exanimateSo tired I'm loopy]
[Current Music |Boston Legal theme song]

So after discussing things with Damien, Lilly began to miss her little girl, and wandered into his office the next night begging him to let Vicky come and stay at their house permanently. He was hesitant, but once she started to cry, he caved in and she immediately perked right up... manipulative little... Anywho, Vicky came to stay, though she continued her game of staring at Damien instead of talking to him. He's bound and determined to win over her admiration though and prove Orion wrong. So far he's managed to get her to smile as many as FOUR times. It'll take a lot more though to get Vicky to warm up to her father's arch rival.

Not too long after Reeva and Lilly each found out about their babies, Nana (Matilda) got in one of her cooking moods and decided to have everybody over for dinner. What an eventful dinner it was too. The first great outburst was from Kaden who, after being told by Kaci that he had to eat twice as many vegetables tomorrow for not eating his peas tonight, yelled at his dad for never being around like a real dad anyway. He was promptly sent to his room and the rest of the room had to recover from an awkward silence. Soon after though, there were multiple awkward moments, but no silence at all.

Reeva broke the initial silence by announcing her need for a drink, which Lilly, who knew about the baby, got mad at her for. Kaci agreed with Lilly using the logic that Reeva kept on getting sick only in the mornings, revealing to everyone there that she was pregnant. Obviously Reeva was pissed. Everybody else on the other hand congratulated her, and Damien even stood up to give a toast to salute "Cheers then, to Reeva AND to Lilly, because children are happy occasions." Then it was Lilly's turn to be pissed. And Alex of course had to make a snotty comment, causing Reeva to threaten him with the day he knocks up Celia, thereby causing Alex to reply with another snotty comment about already being engaged to her anyway and then causing Dargason to respond with a threat to Alex's life.

Meanwhile, as the other guys were getting in trouble ((except for Torin, who was inches away from making out with Lona off in the corner)), Lilly was still pissed at Damien for telling everybody she was pregnant and got her revenge on him by showing everybody a little trick that she remembered from a long time ago. By rubbing a certain pressure point on his back, she caused his wings to unfold themselves and remain stuck in view for an hour at a time. She then left him to sulk while she and Reeva helped Nana clean dishes. Nana pointed out that this is the first Dargason had heard about ther baby and that Reeva should PROBABLY go and talk to him. Buuut, she still wanted to put it off. After all, she should really find out whose it is.

Nana also pointed out that Lilly was wearing a silver ring on her right hand with the diamond turned in. Not wanting to explain why she had put on Orion's wedding ring after he returned it to her, she distracted Nana by dropping a dish, but was then greeted by the man himself, who snuck in behind her and scared the crap out of her. Wouldn't you know it too, the one person not invited (and who certainly wasn't the one anybody wanted to hear about the baby) came just in time to hear about the baby. He congratulated Reeva and asked her who the father was, throwing her way off guard, but then to Lilly, he simply assumed that the child was his own, despite being told about the 50:50 chance.

Several people told Orion to leave, but as stubborn as he is, he would not go without seeing Vicky. Then once she had run off to go to sleep, Damien pinned Orion to the wall and would not let him go until he agreed to leave immediately. Orion laughed in Damien's face as he does every time Damien pins him, but he did agree to leave since he had stalked Lilly there anyway. Once gone though, Reeva and Lilly both started to cry. Reeva's being a lot less common, Dargason and Kaci both rushed to comfort her, though Kaci was a little bit too late and suddenly had a good reason to be very suspicious of Dargason's relationship to her. Reeva declared that she wanted to start hunting Orion for his life right away, but Lilly fought down everyone that agreed with her and defended him with her own life.

I'm going to leave with yet another cliffhanger, but this time it's because I have to get up early. There is more to come, oh yes... there will be more...

One Big Mess [Feb. 5th, 2007|10:31 pm]
[Current Mood |crankycranky]
[Current Music |Lifehouse]

I'll go backwards from the last update now and start with the latest Puppy additions to the families. Though bought and paid for as a Christmas gift to Alex, Celia's present came a bit late. He wasn't old enough to leave his mom in time for Christmas, so a little bit into January, Celia came to Alex's house with a big box that was jiggling violently from the squirming of a 6 week old Collie puppy. He was instantly popular with everyone and as energetic as a chipmunk with an espresso! To follow the name trends in his dogs, (from Hero of Men and Legend of Alex) Alex named him the Dog of Epic Proportions, or Epic for short. So his dogs in order have been called Hero, Legend, and Epic... Niiiiiiice.

A second puppy went to Reeva's twins. An oh-so-cute-don't-you-want-to-kiss-it 8 week old German Shepherd that hasn't been named yet. Like a NORMAL puppy, this one sleeps a lot so far. Alex's puppy on the other hand is like some kind of mutant and spends all of his time trying to eat things that aren't edible. Something tells me Epic will be difficult to train...

Also in January was the opening night of Celia's show. She played the most intimidating Madame Giry that the Phantom of the Opera has ever seen. When she struck the stage with her staff, even the audience jumped. But, once the show was over, it was HER turn for a surprise. Once everyone had taken their bows and Christine had gotten her boquet of flowers, the lights stayed off and the spotlight narrowed in the front. Christine waved for the audience's attention and told them, "If we could please have your attention for just a few minutes longer, we have a surprise for our Madame Giry, who is played by Celia Ridley. Celia, please come up here so we can all see you." A very confused Celia did come up and was handed her own flowers by one of the stage hands, and then she was greeted by Alex walking onto the stage in a suit!

I myself am even amazed that he wore a suit. He was tugging at it the whole night, but he still did it...

Always one to get to the point, Alex didn't say a thing before dropping to one knee in front of Celia and encouraging a lot of cheers and aww's from the audience. The actor playing Phantom handed him a microphone so everyone could hear him tell her, "I thought the best way to do this was to embarass you. ((the audience laughed)) Celia, I waited all my life for you to come along, and now that you're here, I have no intention to ever let you go. That's why I want the whole world to hear your answer when I ask you, Celia Ridley, will you marry me?" He was only one sentence in before she started crying and by the time he finished the question, she was nodding and diving to hug him. He even had to push her back to put the ring on her hand, which was gold with a figure-8 row of diamond chips around two larger tear-shaped stones. Once they were done they turned to the audience and Christine announced with the microphone that she'd said yes and thanked them all for being such a wonderful crowd. They in turn responded with a standing ovation for the happy couple. :) I love happy endings!

Now back to some more confusing things...

Lilly decided to follow through with The Plot to merge herself into one person again. She filled in Artemis as to what would happen, emphasizing the guarantees that they'd be split again if something went wrong and that Orion would not be physically harmed. Artemis brought Vicky with her of course, not wanting her to be under Orion's influence alone, and Vicky has since been spending a few nights here and there with her cousins at Reeva's house. For the actual process of the merging, Lilly and Artemis both placed their hands around Lilly's staff, which surrounded them in a sphere of white light. When they were together, the light cleared and the result was Lilly, dressed in a very graceful blue gown with half of her hair tied back in a pin and the other part tumbling all the way down her back, straight until the sudden burst of curls at the ends. Her expression was more serious than before, her eyes were brighter, her wings now had a faint blue glow around the feathers, and she gave off a generally more maternal glow. Damien looked like he needed a bucket to catch the drool. He was clearly happy to see her back to her old self. In his own words, "THIS is the Lilly I married!"

To celebrate nothing going immediately wrong in the process, everybody started to have a great time partying and drinking heavily. Alex and Lilly were the only ones not to drink, Alex because of his medications and Lilly because she said she didn't feel much like drinking. But, nobody was opposed to a game of Strip Poker, Reeva especially because she missed the New Years' game. Lilly didn't play either, but her excuse this time was that she hadn't even seen herself in this new combined form yet and she wasn't about to strip for everybody else... right. Anyway, Alex was the first to lose, like he usually does, and Reeva was in the lead right up there with Damien for a while until the guys got a little too sauced and decided to gang up on her so they could see more skin. Kaci and Dargason were especially vicious about getting her tank top to go. However, the drinks kept on coming and Reeva seemed to be having a lot more than anybody else. Combined with Dargason's extremely low tolerance for alcohol and the fact that her new house is next door to his, he offered to toddle her home (since walking was clearly too difficult). She decided to teleport them both home instead and they "accidentally" ended up in his bedroom... the rest gets a little too vivid for our younger readers ;) Imagine what you will.

Around a week later, longer than expected, Orion showed up at the Carsper house to demand to know where his wife was. Lilly waved hello. He replied with, "Yes Hello, now where is my wife?" Also one to get to the point, Lilly told him "You're really stupid sometimes, you know that? The fact that it took you a WEEK to notice I was gone tells me that you didn't even show up at home. How dense are you?" And Orion instantly caught on to what had happened. He then insisted that Vicky go home with him because he didn't want his little girl to have that much exposure to Damien. At the time, she was still avoiding Damien anyway because of what she learned from her father. When Lilly cried to get Damien to accept Vicky's stay there, Vicky started a new game where she stares at Damien while remaining perfectly still until somebody else is available to speak to before running away at full pace. Needless to say, Damien is getting very frustrated with it.

Anyway, once he caught on to what Lilly had done, Orion was so angry that he seemed ready to hit her. But, before he could even raise his hand past his own shoulder, Lilly's knee landed in his gut and he was so utterly shocked by her retaliation that he backed down and agreed to leave Vicky with her as long as he could see her every so often. Himself being one who just loves to make trouble, he made an attempt to seduce Lilly with a long, romantic kiss (which she couldn't help but return "just a little bit") and returned her wedding ring that Artemis had left with him before the merge. He then decided to pick on Reeva by suggesting that she was pregnant, which would explain her "awful mood swings and irritability". Reeva just brushed it off as PMS and threatened his genetalia, which encouraged him to say goodnight to Vicky and leave.

As if Lilly weren't troubled enough with her mind conflicted between two lives, Orion's kissing her made her generally freak out, and she refused to tell Damien about it because she would then feel compelled to tell him that she kissed him back and he would then get mad. As it was, she was too scared to sleep in their room with him because she thought it would be cheating on her other husband. After a week he managed to get her to admit why she wouldn't sleep in their room, and pointed out that she was wearing his ring before she was even split apart and that she was still wearing it now. That convinced her to sleep next to him, but there were still no squeaky springs if you know what I mean ;) ...

During the following weeks, Lilly became more noticably frustrated to the point where Reeva asked her what was wrong, but to no avail. Reeva herself was acting somewhat peculiar, and since Damien was frustrated from being cut off from Lilly with no explanation, he suggested to Reeva rather bluntly that she might be pregnant. Taking HIS word for it over Orion's, she bought a home test that night and began to swear like a sailor. But before that even, Lilly made one obvious error and announced that she was going to be sick before running into the house while Damien and Reeva were with her in the driveway. Reeva followed her inside to talk since men just tend to get confused (sorry guys, but admit it, it's true).

Once Reeva found Lilly sitting on the floor of the hallway, Lilly confessed to her that she was "in BIIIIIIIG trouble". She'd found out just a little too late that she was pregnant, and all timing suggested that she was pregnant before the merge happened (especially since she hadn't been with Damien OR Orion since then). She mixed things up a bit trying to explain it, but eventually got it across that since she didn't know until after the merge, Lilly has no idea who is the baby's father. She even made it a point to tell Reeva how she was "exceedingly romantic" with both of them, each as his own wife, on the same night about a week before the merge. She claimed that she really wanted it to be Damien's but was terrified to find out if it was Orion's, so she avoided telling anyone until now. Most of all she was afraid to find out how Damien and Orion would react once she told them. Reeva encouraged her to talk to Damien because she knew how much he really loves her and insisted that he'd understand. Then on her way out, she told Damien that Lilly wanted to talk to him, was called a bitch in the process (jokingly), and went on to discover her own predicament. A few days later, Reeva shared with Lilly that she too was pregnant and was not quite sure whether or not it was Kaci's. Oddly enough, Lilly was happy to hear that she had been with Dargason, because she claims "you two would be so adorable together!". Reeva said she could narrow her timing down to between three to five weeks, but had been with both in that amount of time and didn't want to tell them until she knew for sure. Being in the same type of trouble, Lilly agreed to keep her secret to herself.

Anyway, after being trapped into a conversation with Damien, Lilly managed to muster up the courage to tell him that she was pregnant. He was thrilled to hear it! Then she admitted that she had been since before the merge, and it didn't seem to make a difference in his mood. THEN she confessed that she didn't know if it was his or Orion's and he still wasn't mad. He sat her down on the couch and told her, "Lilly, I don't care whose child this is, I consider it my own. I hope that it is mine, but I certainly can't change things if it's not. What I can do is be here for you and for this baby for absolutely ANYTHING you need. We thought you couldn't have any more kids at all, and now we've beaten the odds. I'm sorry, but I'm going to be the optimist here and say that 'I'm the man'!"

Besides just making her feel better, Damien's reaction made her realize that she didn't want Orion to know at all. She began plotting ways to keep him from finding out, and considered letting Vicky go back home too so he wouldn't be coming around when she got bigger. But, Damien discouraged her from that and they decided instead that they would just keep it a secret as long as possible. When it did squeak loose, they'd worry about it then. And lucky Damien wouldn't you know, his little "I'll be there" speech got him lucky too ;) squeaky spring symphony coming right up!

Though there are many more things for Lilly to worry about, and just as many for Reeva too, I'm going to stop here because I want to go to sleep and this post is getting really really long. I'll be back for more though, mind you! Goodnight everybody!

[Current Music |My bologne has a first name...]

So after Alex's "now or never" conversation with Celia, she went on to Scotland to visit her family as planned and poor Alex was left to wait for her answer until after she returned. Of course, he spent every waking hour worrying about what it would be, even when his dad asked him to help set the high scores for the grand opening of the arcade. He and Liam were there for a few hours when Reeva and the twins showed up to help too, the latter of which was starting to feel a bit sore in the stomach. So, with six people (all that were expected) at the arcade working, nobody expected to hear the elevator running again or to see Celia appear from it, completely out of breath from searching high and low for Alex. Polite as they are, Damien and Reeva coaxed the kids and Liam into another room so Celia and Alex could have privacy. All Alex could do was stare at her with his jaw open even when she started crying and told him, "I shouldn't have ever left in the first place. I want YOU, Alex, no one else." He stared at her for a while more then hugged her tight without ever saying a word. Damien even commented to Reeva that he didn't think Alex would ever let go at all now.

Funny how with all that happened, suddenly Alex and Celia are closer than ever before and acting as if nothing happened to upset their content little bubble...

The little sore feeling in Simone's stomach turned out to be the beginning of chicken pox, which spread to her brother Kaden too. Both were full blown poxed right in time to move into their new house. Everybody was there to help though, so after three or four people nagged Alex off of the couch, Reeva had a chance to go give them an oatmeal bath and hear the rantings of previous parents saying "my mother always used such-and-such to help chicken pox!" Partially looking for a way to help and a way out of loading heavy boxes into the house, Alex offered to help Reeva tuck them into bed with a sweet lullaby, which everybody else leaned in to enjoy as he only uses his purest angel-voice for lullabies. But the largest problem with chicken pox is who hasn't had it before...

I still think it's wierd that Vicky actually gets along with the twins and plays with them, but it's good that she has cousins her own age to relate to. Anyway, she caught the pox from them and from there, her father caught it too! Poor Orion never played with children when he was little and never had chicken pox, so when Vicky brought it home, it was too late for him to leave town until it was over. Alex kind of snickered a bit when he heard, but Lilly and Reeva were laughing their asses off! They both thought he deserved the itchy misery, and it was even better when Artemis told Lilly that he was so worried about scarring his perfect complexion with little spots. So, Lilly put off her plot for revenge until after Orion had time to heal and until after the holidays so Vicky didn't have a poor Christmas without her mother.

Oh yes, Lilly's plan... Since it's hard to understand I'll start at the top. Lilly is the reincarnate of Artemis' original life from the early 19th century. She died in 1927 from complications of a miscarriage and Orion spiralled into a monstrous wreck when she did, spending a few years in an asylum by his own will just to pass the time until she was reborn. However, when she WAS reborn, it was in Salem just a few doors away from Damien, and he got to her first. By the time Orion caught up to Lilly, she was madly in love with and married to Damien with two kids (Alex was about seven, still a few years before his psychotic episodes). There was a lot of fighting around Salem in that time, and Lilly was torn apart with her memories of Orion coming back to her little by little. She wanted him to be happy again, but she still loved Damien. So, her compromise was to literally tear herself apart. She got approval from the Council of Angels (since Orion causes less trouble when he has his wife with him) to divide herself into her light and dark sides. Her dark side resurrected Artemis and her dominant light side held full control of their life force and remained with Damien. This is why they are connected physically and look like identical twins. If Lilly dies, so does Artemis, but if Artemis dies, Lilly becomes full again, though severely injured. Anyway, Lilly's plan to bring Orion to his knees is to take Artemis away from him. She isn't going to kill her, since that would hurt herself too, but once again she made a proposal to the council of angels and got Temporary approval to rejoin herself with Artemis to try to reason with Orion. However, if they come to too much trouble, Artemis will be removed again after two weeks (or more if Lilly appears to be making headway).

Reeva and Dargason are both trying to persuade Lilly to try a different approach, since Reeva knows how insane Orion can get and Dargason knows how insane SHE can get. Damien's just tickled pink at the thought of Lilly being whole again. He's also been a bit too excited though when she practices sparring with the boys. He, like Dargason, remembers what Lilly is like when she's really herself and since that's the Lilly he married, he's just thrilled. Alex, on the other hand, is terrified. As soon as he heard the plan, he ducked in cover and asked his mom to reconsider. He described her as "a match hovering over the gunpowder trail" and "moodier than Celia", which got him slapped anyway.

Anyway, with other people, Reeva and Dargason seem to be getting closer. Kaci had spent the night with Reeva at the new house and was still there in his shorts when Darg arrived to help unpack and bring Reeva a housewarming gift of a painted glass box with purple irises on it. Needless to say, he was irritated and Reeva got to see his pure hatred for all creatures Earth Elemental. Though he couldn't rationalize that, he did manage to explain how Kaci had always been rude to him since they first met, neglecting also to mention that Kaci is Alex's best friend and Dargason was rude to Alex first on account of his dating then marrying Celia. The best part was when Dargason excused himself to go run some errands and gave Reeva a big kiss right in front of Kaci AND the twins. Kaci was just shocked, but the twins actually asked Mommy if she was dating Mister Dargason... That was awkward ;)

That blew over just fine, and later in the week, when Lona and Cayla were done with their semester at school and home, Dargason brought Lona over to help start a little garden outside by the stream with the twins. Lilly and Alex were there too of course to continue unpacking, but Alex was acting kind of bizarre. He kept talking faster and faster and he was making no sense when he did talk. In short, he was in a Manic episode, which Lilly explained was because his doctor switched him to a new medication for his Bipolar Disorder, which didn't seem to be working as well as the Lithium salts. Still, they put him to use helping the twins organize their closet since he had such "amazing ideas, TONS of them!" when he was like this. However, he then got distracted when Reeva suggested he watch the Disney version of Robin Hood with the twins. Lilly continued helping Reeva unpack breakables while the kids were all occupied and after her rehearsal, Celia showed up to help too.

Well, with so many people at the house, it soon became obvious that Alex was being a little too quiet, and he eventually whispered to Celia that he thought he should be monitored on the way home because he was starting to feel sick. Getting Dargason to keep Lilly where she was, Celia took Alex to make him lay down and invited herself to the kitchen to attempt making his requested soup out of a can... with twice the water needed. Reeva tried to help her, but to try convincing a 4.0 graduate of a fancy Alchemy school that she was mixing the wrong amount of ingredients was like pulling on her hair. She didn't listen at ALL, and even argued that she was doing exactly what Alex asked her to do. Even when poor Alex came back in and set his head down on the table, she still made him try HER version of the soup, then abandoned it to Reeva's Chicken Soup Cure and started to mix up an elven tea that was supposed to make Alex's head feel better. He drank it anyway, but said "it tastes more like the elves' feet" and was told "so what, it works, that's what matters"... poor thing. After trying to avoid letting Reeva feed him the chicken soup, she sent them on with a thermos anyway and Celia brought him home to rest.

The next day, Alex felt even worse, which posed a problem for Celia's director. She was supposed to go to rehearsal since the opening night of Phantom is coming up VERY soon, but she refused to leave his house until he was well enough to get up and cook for himself, and he was still sleeping for twelve hours at a time. On the other hand, Lilly stopped by with a plate of cupcakes to cheer him up and saw how diligently (and with stubborn vengeance) Celia was taking care of him. Bit by bit, it seems Celia is winning over Lilly's trust and affection. After two and a half days, Alex's nausea wasn't letting up, and the only connection he could make was the new medication, so he switched himself back to "trusty toxic Lithium salts" and left his doctor a short little irreverant voicemail letting him know :p ...silly Alex... He now feels better too, go figure he was right about something medical!

Many other plans are under weigh, some of which have gone down already, but that's for you to read about next time. Here's a few hints: special Christmas gifts between Alex and Celia; the replacement of Orion with Dargason in the annual Strip Poker game (a new face to shock with Damien's Jingle-Bells boxer shorts); a new job offer (but for who?); The Plot; and finally, PUPPIES!!!!!

Happy New Year and all that Jazz. See you next time!

Celia broke Orion!!! [Dec. 17th, 2006|05:13 am]
[Current Mood |blankblank]
[Current Music |Believe from the Legend of Dragoon]

Well, as per his vow to Alex, Orion agreed to have a peaceful conversation with Celia during which he would answer ANY question she had to the best of his ability and would make no moves to harm her in any way or even make her uncomfortable. Still, Reeva went along to make sure she was safe. Orion met them in the front of his house very politely and guided them to drinks in his study, then guaranteeing to them (just for the record, you know) that he was in no way offering her an apology or even his own regret for killing her son. He was only doing this because "the boy" asked him to. Once again, here he is doing something for Alex and nobody has any clue why he ONLY does these things for Alex...

Anyway, the girls sat down with Orion in his little fancy study for a talk. Celia's first question was simple: "Why did you kill Joey?" Orion answered that it was unintentional and that he hadn't expected Joey to be there at all, just Alex and his parents. Plus, the two of them looked so much alike that only a two-inch height difference is just not enough to tell which one was which. Then Celia asked him to explain it because supposedly he never missed his mark. After swearing both of them (especially frustrated Reeva) to silence, Orion admitted that he missed his mark and that he was really aiming for Alex. He knew that Lilly would crack if Alex were hurt, but Joey (who Orion refers to as 'the clone') was there instead. Reeva was absolutely pissed! But, cool and calm Orion with no idea what empathy is explained that if Alex had been there instead, the bullet would have hit his ribcage instead of going between them to the heart. Lightbulb #1, Celia realized that Orion wasn't really trying to KILL anyone, he just wanted to distract Lilly by injuring his only friend.... okay it still doesn't make sense, especially when he refuses to admit that Alex is his friend.

Question 2: "How did you get that scar?" First Orion assumed that she was talking about the line down his cheek and explained that Kaci was upset with him and punched him while wearing a set of brass knuckles. Once Celia stated that she meant that smaller scar on his forehead above his left eye, he was shocked to find out that it was noticeable at all. Reeva agreed with Orion too, she had never noticed the scar. But, honest little bastard, Orion told her that the scar on his forehead was from several years ago when a fight to defeat his father ended in yet another cracked skull, then showed her another scar hidden beneath his hair in the back of his head from when he was 19 years old and cracked his skull for the first time on the brick pavement when his father tried to dispose of him and leave him for dead. Lightbulb #2 for Celia, Orion was abused as a child and thought that because his little sister was abused in another, even LESS appropriate manner, that his children were at risk for the same thing from men like Lucian and he wanted to get all danger out of the picture.

Question 3 only came up after Celia reassured herself that Orion would answer ANYTHING... "What happened to Grace?"

First, Orion almost choked on his drink from the shock, then tried to say that "a clear answer is outside of my ability". But, Celia coaxed him into talking, which he only did when Reeva stepped outside (where she promptly eavesdropped like a good guardian). He explained between drinks how Grace disappeared into the trees behind their property after her fifth birthday party and how he and Kaci found her after hours of searching. She was modeled perfectly at the base of a tree with the back of her neck slashed, then her doll was placed in the same position closer to the house. Within the hours of one night, Orion's little girl was taken away from him forever. To Celia, this was a realization AND an opportunity. She realized that he blamed himself for her death because he was so close to her and couldn't protect her. She also saw that he was worried endlessly about the same thing happening to his youngest who also just turned five, Victoria. Her opportunity was to teach him about empathy...

Celia leaned towards him to whisper "...now imagine that you didn't have those memories of the five years you spent every day with her. Imagine that you had no idea who she was at all until the day she was killed and suddenly they all came back to you. Do you think it would hurt just as bad?" Orion suggested he would feel worse because every memory felt so fresh. She responded with "Now you see what you did to me. I not only have to live with that, I also have to try to fix Alex, who you DESTROYED by doing this. We don't have the "trapped ever after" relationship you have with Artemis, you ripped up everything we had. I don't even know if I should try to fix it. It's so far gone, we don't even have our children to stay for." Orion was in absolute shock, still thinking about how he made Celia feel the same way he did for Grace. But to drive her point home, she threw in the first time someone told Orion exactly what they thought of him.

"I appreciate you talking to me, Orion. It helped me understand the kind of person you are, but I don't like what I saw. If I piece together what Alex says about you with what you said to me tonight, I'd guess that your father rules your life even though he's dead and gone. You're still scared that he'll come and take everything away again, so you're retaliating by taking as much as you can from everybody else you see."

The only thing Orion could think of to say was an encouragement for her to stay with Alex because "men are fools for their love, even if they are not romantics". Meek little Celia (hahahah, I can't keep a straight face calling her meek) left Orion all alone on the verge of tears in his hollow study, drank the rest of Reeva's brandy, and went on to face Alex and try to salvage her broken heart & figure out what she really wanted. Reeva went on looking for more booze after Celia took hers and wound up at Lilly's raiding the wine closet and trying to keep quiet about what she'd heard from Orion. Lilly would NEVER let him live it down if she knew he'd missed a shot and hit the wrong kid. She also wouldn't believe that Orion took a kill shot at Alex.

Lilly and Reeva sat around for a while drinking and talking about exactly why Lilly never liked Celia. A few years before Celia got sick in her past life, she decided that she wanted to see what the rest of the world was like instead of the medieval realm she grew up in and the constant fights she picked with Alex. Alex was so upset by her leaving that he showed up at his parents' house in tears, completely shattered. He had to leave their kids with a family friend while he recovered from his meltdown. It took Lilly a month to get Alex just to eat again, his weight dropped way too low, he stopped taking his medicines, and when Celia realized that she couldn't make it on her own and came back to him, ALEX TOOK HER BACK! Lilly of course is still pissed twenty years later that she hurt her little boy like that and will ONLY forgive Celia if she proves that she can take care of Alex without putting him at risk. Reeva, such the perfect middle-man, tried to reason with Lilly that Celia is on her second life and deserves a second chance with Alex too, and that it's Alex's life, not hers.

They were still talking about Celia's second chance when they heard Alex walk in and saw him sitting in the front hall with his face buried in his hands muttering that he'd just done the dumbest thing he's ever done before (which Damien would argue must be pretty bad 'cuz Alex has done some really stupid shit). Celia was supposed to leave for Scotland in the morning to visit family while her sister was on break from school (she attends the same boarding school as Cayla), and without giving her any chance to respond right away, Alex told her "I've been waiting for you for fifteen years, I just can't wait for you anymore and I won't do it. You either love me and always will or you don't and never did." Poor little guy was so upset with himself for saying it that he even left her there crying by herself and went right home to hide out at his parents because his own dog wasn't around to lick his face and tell him it would be okay. Lilly didn't lick his face, but she did tell him everything would be fine, despite her anger towards Celia.

Hahahaa, I'm so evil I'll leave you with this cliffhanger to see what Celia will say when she comes back from Scotland in a week. Oh, and Reeva also learned that despite it being very rare to see Alex stressed out, he has the exact same mannerisms as Damien when he's stressed out. They both play with their hair a lot and start shaking like rabid dogs. It makes you feel bad for them, but you still have to laugh seeing two opposites acting the same way. :p

TRAGEDY!!! [Nov. 27th, 2006|03:41 am]
[Current Mood |chipper"Hot"]
[Current Music |Mad World by Michael Andrews]

Okay, wow, a LOT happened since the last time I updated. Celia recovered enough of her memories to encourage Alex to reintroduce her to their son Joey. The boy was in Salem anyway because Alex wanted him to learn how to use a sword, so he brought Joey to lunch with Celia too and the three of them spent hours talking. She recognized him immediately and all was wonderful in the world until she left for her rehearsal and Joey went back to the Carsper house with his dad where Orion was picking a fight with Lilly.

Orion's beef was Lilly's warrant out for his arrest. It was causing a lot of trouble for him (go figure) as there were angels all over the place trying to attack him. He came with his gun of course, just hoping that Lilly would take his blackmail. He told her to retract the warrant or he'd shoot Damien again, but higher than in the leg. Problem is, Lilly's more stubborn than ANY of the boys and twice as dangerous when her children are around. Alex happened to be standing next to Damien with Joey at the time, so of course Lilly refused to do anything but make Orion's life miserable. So, to illustrate his point, Orion (without aiming) raised his pistol and fired, hitting Joey and killing him on impact. Before Joey could even bleed through his shirt, Damien was charging for Orion, Lilly was rushing to try to heal Joey, and Orion was on his way out with the words, "Oopsy-daisy. Thought he was the boy" (boy being Alex).

Damn, it's only an hour after leaving Celia and now Alex has to go tell her that the son she was just reunited with is dead. Needless to say, she took it VERY poorly. Her first instinct was to blame Alex for bringing Joey to such a dangerous place in the first place. Right, his parents' house is so dangerous, but a grieving mother makes crude assumptions. So after a while, when Reeva had brought Joey to his place in Hades, she and Damien went to find Alex and Celia to try to calm down their fight. They were still screaming after hours of fighting and Alex, who is normally very hard to make angry, was absolutely pissed. Celia claimed she could have at least spent more time with Joey if Alex had told her the truth about her past life sooner, to which he replied that he was already punished before for interfering and something that severe would result in having his wings ripped out of his back. He called her immature and indecisive, she kept throwing it in his face that he was friends with Orion. Reeva and Damien stopped them right after hearing Alex tell her to make up her mind as to whether or not she really loved him at all. They then split the two up to talk separately.

On his own, Alex was okay with Joey's death. He'd been there before and has the rare priveledge of remembering it, so he knows that Joey will be alright. His largest problem is being left alone. His dog isn't around to lick his face to say it'll be okay and now Celia was fighting with him so violently that he didn't think that she cared at all about how he felt. He waited for 15 years just for her to be reborn and now that she remembers everything about him, she doesn't even seem to want their shared memories. As he told Damien on their way out of Celia's house, he's "So tired of waiting for her. I don't think I can do it anymore..."

On the other end, Celia was a confused wreck. She'd had everything thrown on top of her at one time and couldn't put any of the pieces together by herself. Add in her own stubborn streak and she didn't have the courage to ask for help, she just started to fight with Alex instead. Reeva helped her to calm down and think things through rationally, and also gave her a necklace that Joey had asked her to deliver before going to his resting place. It was a four-pointed celtic knot with a colored stone in each of the twists: yellow; blue; green; and purple. One for each of their family before Celia and Lexi died. It was Joey's way of telling his mother not to forget the family they all had, even if they weren't together anymore. It broke her heart to see and mended it at the same time. Celia begged Reeva to tell Alex that she didn't mean anything she'd said, but like any smart mom, Reeva insisted that she tell Alex herself because it'll mean more to him that way. Celia agreed with her, then suddenly asked how to contact Orion so she could talk to him directly. Obviously it shocked Reeva, but Celia explained that part of their fight included Alex's accusation that she was treating him the same way she would treat Psychopathic Orion because he's Bipolar. She hoped to hear from Orion his explanation of what happened and why and maybe even learn how his mind works so she could contrast it to Alex's and be more fair in her judgement.

Lucky for Celia, Alex had split from his dad and snuck back to say one more thing to Celia. Instead he heard what she said about wanting to talk to Orion and left to talk to him first and make sure Orion wouldn't hurt her if she did see him. Reeva decided to go and talk to Dargason soon after and found him in the hallway. She first accused him of sneaking away from Damien to run away from everyone, then learned that he was on his way to Orion's. While THEY were arguing, Dargason was dropping liquor bottles on the floor of the library where he was absolutely smashed. He was more upset about Celia being angry with him than he was over Joey, so Reeva helped get him to bed, trying constantly to convince him that he was in human form, he was not a dragon, and that he was drunk and needed to lighten up on the Scotch. Poor drunk idiot even told Alex that he liked him after all and tried to give him a Necromancy book before Reeva distracted Darg and let Alex leave to talk to Orion.

Reeva got Dargason all tucked into bed and went back to Celia in time for her brief text messaging conversation with Alex. She apologized for blaming him and he seemed to be okay, but when he called, he sounded very serious and still somewhat angry. He told her that he'd talked to Orion already and that he agreed to sit down with her on Monday night after the memorial ceremony for Joey so they could talk. Orion even swore on his daughter's life that he would not make any unfriendly motions towards Celia during their conversation and that he would answer any of her questions to the best of his ability. She tried to thank him and get him to talk more about the two of them, but he just told her that he wanted to talk to her in person at their hideout, AFTER she spoke to Orion. His tone, which is rarely so mad ever, only made Celia more upset so that Reeva had to spend more time calming her down. When Reeva finally did get Celia calmed down enough, she left her to get a good night's rest and went on to take care of her own children for a change.

My computer is crashing on me bit by bit, so I'm leaving the rest for later, slow style. Will Orion keep his promise to behave himself? Will Reeva get totally worn out playing peacemaker? Will Dargason ever be sober again? Find out next time when my computer actually lets me work!
